The client offers an app to streamline dump truck operations, offering job management, hauler connections, and real-time tracking. However, as their platform grew, they encountered several challenges that impacted growth and customer satisfaction. Troubleshooting operational issues became harder. Frequent outages happened due to traffic surges. Infrastructure deployment was slow and labor-intensive, hampering scaling. These issues threatened the service quality and user demand.

Approach

  • Product Deployment and Support: Centrally managed cloud resources using a platform operations approach, achieving governance at scale through Infrastructure as Code. 
  • Web & Mobile App Design & Development: Improved web and mobile application design with integrated content management systems and customer analytics for better user engagement and data-driven insights. 
  • Operations and Maintenance: Automated system patching via AWS Systems Manager to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual maintenance efforts. 
  • Cloud Security: Deployed AWS Security Hub for continuous security best practice checks and automated compliance and implemented AWS Audit Manager for SOC 2 evidence collection. 
  • Mobile Testing: Implemented comprehensive mobile testing strategies to ensure optimum app functionality and performance across various devices and operating systems.
